Vote by Mail is the least transparent, most corruptible system of elections in America today. Below, are the “Ditch Vote by Mail” commercials you hear on the radio. Each one highlights an area of security in which your ballot, not only may not count, but be used to vote for someone you never intended.
“MISTAKE”
When calling the Elections Office, their recording says, “If you make a mistake on your ballot and the envelope is sealed, simply slice open the envelope, change your vote and Scotch Tape it closed. It will be accepted.”
How many times have you voted, sealed the envelope and thought to yourself, “No, I want to vote for a different candidate.”? Never??? Us too. However, judging by what you’ll see at the Elections Office, a considerable amount of people do because there’s a lot of scotch taped envelopes. It’s our guess that the original recipients weren’t the ones that changed their votes.
“BALLOT HARVESTING”
Going door to door to collect ballots is completely legal in Oregon. Anyone can collect ballots. According to state law, people collecting ballots must have a collection box that clearly reads “unofficial ballot drop site.” The font must be at least 50-point bold font size in all caps, which means, “make up a box and you’re a legal ballot harvester”.

“MACHINES”
Oregon employs tabulation computers with which the State refuses to allow their inspection.
Oregon argues, “The architecture is a part of the ClearBallot software the county purchased and uses to tabulate election results. That architecture is proprietary and ClearBallot has an interest in protecting it from competitors in the industry”.
These machines are a source of proven ballot manipulation across the country leading multiple states abolishing them. Oregon chooses to keep the machines and maintains that even though you the taxpayer, have paid for them, you have no right to see how they work or what goes on inside them. Why won’t Oregon let us examine the equipment they made us pay for and which rightfully belong to we the people? This is of huge concern, as is said, “It’s not the people who vote that count, but the people who count the votes”, and these machines are the final stop before the tallies are published.
“BALLOT SHARKS”
Like “Card Sharks”, “Ballot Sharks” as we call them, find the easiest ways to cheat. One of those is with bloated voter rolls. Fact, Oregon has more people on the voter rolls than there are actual voters. Voters are kept on the rolls after they’ve moved out of state or even deceased. These nonvoters names are used by those wishing to increase the number of votes for their given candidates. When a favored candidate is behind, they simply go to the deceased or relocated voter and use their name to fill out a ballot. Oregon refuses to clean the voter rolls for just that reason! “WILD RIDE”
Oregon claims to have chain of custody protocols to track the handling of ballots from the moment they are “received” at the Elections Office until they are counted. HOWEVER, there is NO CHAIN OF CUSTODY, nor monitoring over who actually receives the ballot, fills out the ballot, or returns a ballot.
Your ballot can go anywhere, be in the hands of anybody, have anything happen to it and the Elections Office would never know. There is no security offered once the ballot is mailed out to a recipient. NONE! Election manipulators love that!!!
“CORRUPT”
Since Vote by Mail began testing in local elections 1981, then fully expanded to State and Federal elections in 1999, Oregon has been a one-party controlled state. Before Vote by Mail, Oregon elected 20 Republicans, 14 Democrats, and 1 Independent. THE ONLY LOGICAL CONCLUSION
As you can see, there is no transparency in the system, or even concern over what happens to the ballot once it’s mailed from the vendor until it returns to the Elections Office.
If we want truth in our elections, elections we can trust, then we must “Ditch” the Vote by Mail system and move to in person voting, with ID, hand counted ballots and no machines. Defending the current system as “Safe and Secure” is, for lack of a better word, laughable!
It’s true, Oregon voters voted for “Vote by Mail” in concept, but they had no idea how it was going to be implemented or abused. It’s time for the Oregon Legislature to own up to creating an “Election System” voters absolutely CANNOT trust!!!
